FORT WORTH, TX, US, January 17, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Modular Concepts, Inc. recently secured an 8(a) sole-sourced contract to deliver, install and lease 31,384 square feet of Modular Dormitories, Sleeping Quarters and Administrative Building at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida.

The single-story modular facilities will provide temporary housing as part of the recovery effort from the destruction caused by Hurricane Michael in October 2018. The facilities will help restore normalcy to those affected by the storm and aid in their mission of reconstructing the base.

The 18,792 square foot Modular Dormitories include five buildings with 16 rooms in each, totaling 80 rooms. Each room includes either one queen bed or two twin beds with built-in furniture, a television, and a bathroom per unit.

The 8,880 square foot Sleeping Quarters include 12 buildings with five rooms in each, totaling 60 rooms. Each room includes one queen bed with built-in furniture, a television, and a bathroom per unit.

The 3,712 square foot Administrative Building includes a reception area, offices, meeting rooms and a laundry facility with commercial washers and dryers.

The modular buildings will begin to arrive at Tyndall Air Force Base mid-January of 2019, with an expected completion date of mid-February 2019.
