Partnership To Assist 1Touch Project to Empower People with Disabilities

Our mission is to provide ongoing self-development and rehabilitation courses through adapted self-defense training for people with disabilities.

WEST BURLINGTON, IA, UNITED STATES , February 15, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- 1Touch Project for people with disabilities and the Healthy Vision Association entered the second year of a corporate partnership for 2018. Healthy Vision Association, said: “it is once again our sincere pleasure to partner with 1Touch Project for the Blind for 2018… the information that you provided us was very informative and made the decision to increase our sponsorship very worthwhile”. Last year 1Touch reached over 2,000 people with disabilities and held its 1st Annual Coach’s convention with the assistance of the Healthy Vision Association.

1Touch Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide ongoing self-development and rehabilitation courses through adapted self-defense training specifically for people who are visually impaired, wounded veterans, and members of society requiring physically adaptive activities. 1Touch is a professional “train the trainers” program designed to reach people with disabilities in all communities across the United States. 1Touch has accreditations, state agency recommendations, and a eight-year history of working with people with disabilities. 1Touch increases independence, self-confidence, safety and overall quality of life for people with disabilities. 1Touch provides ongoing classes, workshops, coaching certification courses, mobility impaired courses, a peer support group and an annual Coach’s convention and presentations nationally.
