Hall and Noell take titles at golf tournaments

Hall won the front nine with a 36, followed by Tom Tabor and Ken Hooper with a tied net 37. Hall and Mike Doucette tied for the back nine with a net 38.

Ken Hooper had the low gross score of 86. 

Phil Woody took a skin on #2 with a par; Hall took a skin on #4 with a birdie; Doucette birdied #6 for a skin; Hooper took a skin with a par on #17; and Jay King took #18 with a bogey.

Closest to the pin winners were Livingston Kelley, Hooper, Steve Shumaker and Mike Bowler. 

On April 21, Billy Noell won the Golf Club’s tournament played at Kingwood Golf Course with a net 67. Ken Hooper and Mike Doucette tied for second with a net 68. 

Doucette and Hooper had the lowest gross scores, at 78 and 79. 

Noell won the front nine with a 31, followed by a three-way tie for second between Howard Buchanan, Chuck Hall and Hooper with a net 32. Back nine winner was Phil Woody with a 33, with James Adams and Joe Schivinski tying for second with a net 34. 

Doucette took a skin on #4, #7 and #13 with birdies; Woody biridied #10 and #16 for skins; Hooper parred on #3 and biridied on #8 for skins; Howard Buchanan took skins with a par on #6 and a birdie on #12; Jim Buchanan took #11 with a birdie; and Betty Henderson birdied on #9. 

Closest to the pin winners were Doucette, Woody, Hooper and John O’Neal.
