KTBS 3 has always been a proud supporter of God and Country through our Freedom Fest Series, and our first two trips of 2026 are designed to honor that tradition with unforgettable experiences rich in history, patriotism, and inspiration.

Journey #2: “American Heritage featuring The Greenbrier Resort” with Rick Rowe
If your heart beats for American history, Rick Rowe’s trip is tailor-made for you. This adventure begins in Washington, D.C., amid the nation’s official birthday festivities. From there, you’ll head to the elegant Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia — home of the once-secret Congressional bunker.
Then, step into the legacy of Thomas Jefferson at Monticello, before traveling back in time to Colonial Williamsburg, where cobblestone streets and costumed interpreters immerse you in the life of 18th-century America.
