Israel’s “Plan B”: Psychological Warfare and Arab Voices Against Gaza Resistance

As military tactics falter, Israel turns to media manipulation, enlisting Arab influencers to dismantle support for Hamas and demoralize Gaza from within.

Watan-As Israel continues its open-ended war on the Gaza Strip for over a year now, and after failing to defeat the resistance militarily, Tel Aviv has begun implementing its most dangerous tactic yet: “Plan B,” which centers on igniting internal Palestinian division through psychological warfare and propaganda.

According to an investigation published by the British Evening Star website, Israel has activated an alternative strategy that involves using well-known Arab voices to incite against Hamas and the resistance, as part of a “crisis unit” led by Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee.

The plan is based on steering Arab media discourse in the name of “freedom,” but in the voice of the occupation. Among the most prominent of these voices are: Amjad Taha, Abdulaziz Al-Khamis, Louay Al-Sharif, and Moataz Azayzeh, who appear regularly on platforms and media outlets calling for the fall of Hamas and blaming it for the war.

War of Words: Israel’s Gamble on Arab Voices

The goal? To dismantle the popular support base for the resistance in Gaza and to spread despair and doubt within Palestinian society—especially among the youth—using tools like funding, content production, and direct intelligence guidance.

While angry protests have erupted in some areas of the Strip, observers confirm that these demonstrations do not signify a collapse, but rather a legitimate public pressure in the face of a suffocating siege. However, Israel is exploiting this moment to manufacture internal discord, hoping it will break the backbone of the resistance from within.

Even though tanks and warplanes have failed to “settle” the battle, it now appears that the real battle is being fought with words, narratives, and Arabic-speaking “media agents.”

This war is no longer just a missile war, but a war of awareness, resilience, and understanding of the plots to topple the resistance from the inside—using Arab faces and intelligence-funded agendas, attempting to turn Gazans themselves into tools to crush their own dream of liberation.

The question now is:
Will Israel succeed in recruiting Arab voices to break Gaza? Or will the people’s awareness outshine Avichay’s megaphones?
