LJUBLJANA: Kuwait’s Non-Resident Ambassador to Slovenia, Talal Al-Fassam, held discussions with Executive Director of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Marijana Marijk, in Ljubljana on enhancing economic ties and exploring investment opportunities that serve the mutual interests of both countries. Following the meeting, Ambassador Al-Fassam told KUNA that Kuwaiti-Slovenian relations are gaining momentum, with increasing focus on cooperation across key sectors such as technology, healthcare, and renewable energy — areas aligned with the sustainable development goals of both nations.
He affirmed Kuwait’s commitment to fostering high-quality international partnerships and creating an attractive investment climate, noting particular interest in Slovenian investments. The Ambassador highlighted the potential for Slovenian companies to contribute to Kuwait’s development plans in fields such as technological innovation, advanced medical services, and clean energy initiatives.
Ambassador Al-Fassam further noted that Slovenian officials expressed a strong willingness to expand economic cooperation. Marijk, he said, welcomed the initiative and affirmed the Chamber’s readiness to support Slovenian companies looking to enter the Kuwaiti market.
