A plane has crashed near Propwash Airport, which is in Justin, Texas, with emergency services descending on the scene of the aircraft horror, which has sadly claimed at least one life

A plane has nosedived with fatal consequences, marking the latest in a grim series of aerial disasters.

The chilling incident occurred when a jet plummeted near Propwash Airport in Justin, Texas, US. The crash unfolded at around 7.15pm local time on Friday (1.15am Saturday UK time), prompting emergency crews to swarm the devastating scene.


It's believed that the pilot encountered a sudden snag with the 2019 Sabrewing Lightsport aircraft.


"Multiple investigations into this incident are currently underway," declared an official from the City of Justin authority in Texas. Details on how many souls were aboard the small aircraft remain vague.

This fresh nightmare occurred mere hours after at least three individuals met their end in a plane catastrophe in Boca Raton, Florida. Witness footage captured apocalyptic visuals: a plume of dense grey smoke climbing high, with voracious flames ravaging palm trees along the freeway, reports the Mirror.

A sightseeing helicopter plunged into Hudson River in New York City on Thursday, killing six people. Among the victims were Siemens executive Agustín Escobar, his spouse, and their three offspring hailing from Spain – tributes have been pouring in, mourning the loss suffered by the family.

Texas authorities have confirmed a fatal plane crash with at least one victim. An eyewitness spilt to CBS News Texas that the aircraft seemed troubled shortly after takeoff from Propwash Airport, a hub for light aircraft.

He described how the pilot tried to circle back but tragically crashed before making it.

Justin's Fire Chief, Matthew Mitchell, expressed his condolences, stating: "Our thoughts are with those involved and their families. We are actively working to gather more information and ensure the safety of those in the surrounding area."

The public has been asked to steer clear of the scene to let emergency workers do their bit and keep the probe intact.


The crash site is on lockdown by the boys in blue. The response and ongoing probing involve big shots like the Federal Aviation Administration, Texas Department of Public Safety, Denton County Sheriff's Office, as well as local fire and police departments.

Propwash Airport sits in a secluded rural spot roughly 30 miles north of Fort Worth and a stone's throw of 50 miles northwest of Dallas. It's a base for private charter jets and features a single 3,000-foot asphalt runway.

Earlier this year, a tragic collision between American Airlines Flight 5342 and a military helicopter resulted in the deaths of all 67 individuals on board as the plane plummeted into the Potomac River in Washington DC. The ill-fated jet, inbound from Wichita, Kansas, was ferrying 60 passengers and four crew members when it collided with the Army chopper carrying three soldiers.
