With 99% of the votes on Tuesday night, Fine had about 56.7% of the vote. Fine said Tuesday that percentage could not be considered an underperformance. Fine was asked what Tuesday's margin potentially says about the district. "It's a special election," Fine said. "You have to look at the turnout. I mean there were twice as many people that voted. We won by double digits we're super excited it was an incredibly powerful victory given that many of you said I was going to lose over the last week and clearly we showed that wasn't any risk." Weil, who out-funded Fine—about $9 million to Fine's $1 million—felt they had made this district competitive. "We took a county district of six counties that had been written off and neglected by the state and national party for years that no one thought could be competitive that no one would respond to a progressive message," Weil said. "that no one could generate engagement and infrastructure in and we had hundreds of people who came out and canvassed and knocked doors for the first time. We were neck and neck last I looked within a 10th of a point of winning Volusia county in god knows when,"Fine says he plans to head to Washington on Wednesday. >> Video above is previous 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(Can't see the above embed?
