      Loved ones gathered in Louisburg, Kansas, Friday night to honor a Drexel volunteer firefighter, Anthony Juarez, who died when a car crashed into a building he and his wife were in. The Louisburg Police Department responded to Safari Hair Salon in the 900 block of West Amity Street around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, after reports of a building crash.Police said a man driving a pickup truck veered off the road, crossing the curb before crashing into the east wall of the building. The driver struck Juarez and his wife while sitting at a desk inside an office space next to the salon. In the video above, KMBC 9's Brian Johnson was in Louisburg when many gathered to honor a man they say was a pillar in the community.Anyone wishing to donate to Juarez's family can take donations directly to the Hawthorne Bank in Drexel, Missouri, or send a check to the Drexel Firefighters Fund at PO Box 364 Drexel, MO, 64742.All funds go directly to the Juarez family.His band is also selling T-shirts to raise money for the family, which are available at www.anthonyjuarezmusic.com or www.okkcsports.com/shop.
