RAW VIDEO: Police release video of New Mexico mass shooting
WARNING: THIS VIDEO MAY BE CONSIDERED GRAPHIC BY SOME VIEWERSPolice have released new video taken the moment shots were fired at Young Park in Las Cruces, New Mexico. In the video, a large group of people met at the park for what police called an "unsanctioned car show." The video shows cars doing "donuts" in the parking lot. Shortly after, shots rang out and a large group of people started running from the scene. Las Cruces Police say it was a chaotic scene to investigate. Three people were killed and 15 others were hurt in the shooting. Police have identified those killed as Andrew Madrid (16), Jason Gomez (17), and Dominick Estrada (19). Las Cruces Police say the first calls for a shooting at Young Park were received at 10:10 p.m. on March 21. Prior to the shooting, police say there was a car meetup at the park where a large crowd was watching exhibition driving. During the event, a fight started on the southwest side of the parking lot between two people who had issues in the past. Police then say that argument escalated to gunfire and multiple people started firing weapons. Police say gunfire struck several uninvolved bystanders. Four people were arrested in the incident — three juveniles and one adult.
