2 guns, 1 stolen, found after Lebanon teen pulled over for speeding in Mt. Juliet

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WSMV) - A Lebanon teen is facing charges after a traffic stop led to the discovery of two guns in Mt. Juliet on Monday.
The Mt. Juliet Police Department reports that an officer stopped a vehicle speeding 90 mph in a 70 mph zone on Interstate 40 East.
During the stop, officers discovered the driver, a 16-year-old boy from Lebanon, was in possession of two Glock handguns with extended magazines.
“One of the handguns had been reported stolen during a robbery in Wayne County, TN on December 24, 2024. We are grateful for our officers, working hard every day to protect Mt. Juliet,” MJPD said.
