Fortis Healthcare posts Q4 net loss of Rs 41 crore
Fortis Healthcare on Wednesday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 41.24 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2020. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 151.19 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Fortis Healthcare said in a BSE filing.
World's fastest man suspended for missing doping tests
The fastest man in the world has been sidelined for a string of missed doping tests. Christian Coleman, an American sprinter who won the 100-meter title at last year's world championships and had been the early favourite for the Olympic gold medal at the Tokyo Games, was temporarily banned from competition by the Athletics Integrity Unit on Wednesday.

- UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson's car was involved in a crash outside the gates of Parliament in London on Wednesday as a protester rushed towards his convoy.
- Downing Street said there are no reports of any injuries after social media images emerged of the incident, which took place shortly after Johnson, 55, left the House of Commons after the weekly Prime Minister's Questions (PMQs) session.
Delhi govt to use auditoriums in its 242 schools to set up beds for corona patients: Sisodia
Delhi government is planning to use auditoriums in its over 240 schools to set up additional beds for COVID-19 patients requiring hospitalization, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said on Wednesday.
From 18 June, Tests will be done via new Rapid Antigen methodology approved by ICMR. Delhi would be given priority for these kits. 169 centers have also been set up across Delhi: MHA

Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd (JPVL) on Wednesday said its consolidated net loss has narrowed to Rs 70.91 crore in the March 2020 quarter. Its net loss had stood at Rs 245.30 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year, according to a regulatory filing.

Sweden will from June 30 lift its advice against non-essential travel to 10 European countries, the foreign ministry said on Wednesday. The countries are Greece, Croatia, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, France, Iceland, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg.

Bikaner sizzles at 47.8 deg C as heatwave continues unabated in Rajasthan
- Heatwave conditions prevailed in parts of Rajasthan where Bikaner was the hottest place, recording 47.8 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, according to the Meteorological (Met) Department.
- Ganganagar, Churu, Jaisalmer, Jaipur and Kota recorded a maximum of 47, 46.3, 45.5, 44.4 and 43 degrees respectively while the day temperature in Barmer, Ajmer and Dabok was 42.4, 42.3 and 37.2 degrees, respectively, the Met department said.

- The company had posted a net profit of Rs 548.56 crore during the corresponding January-March quarter of fiscal ended March 2019.
