Own Correspondent|Thousands of people have gathered at the Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo airport to welcome the body of the late hero of the liberation struggle and flight for democracy in Zimbabwe Dr Dumiso Dabengwa.

Dabengwa who was the leader of the opposition ZAPU died in Nairobi Kenya enroute to Zimbabwe from India on Thursday.

Of concern is that government has not deployed any of its army or police officers to give honour and security as the body arrives. No senior government officials have also appeared in public as the body arrives.
