An International Seminar on " Air Defence India" is being organized on 26-27 July 2017 at the Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi.
Aim
The aim of the seminar is to obtain inputs for preparation of a pragmatic road map for modernization of the Army Air Defence and apprise the industry regarding the Army's requirements.
Objectives
The objectives of the seminar are as follows:
• Familiarise with the latest concepts of Air Defence being adopted by other contemporary armies of the world.
• Explore existing technology to neutralize new aerial threats.
• Explore the concept of convergence of EW with Ground Based Air Defence Weapon Systems.
• Build understanding on the aspect of latest trends in communication technology towards achieving net centricity for Air Defence Control & Reporting System (ADC&RS).
• Establish clarity on concepts required towards preparation of modernization road map for Army Air Defence.
• Project requirements to the industry for the next three Five-Year Plan periods.
• Improve industry integration facilitating understanding of the requirement of Army Air Defence. Build a common platform for
