  1. I love this story for the “architectural” memories of Boston it stirs in me. I left BU back in the 70’s with a degree in Fine Art, became an illustrator in NYC for over 20 years, and now a new career in returning to fine art. Somewhere along the way, I found a passion for creating stained glass. Were I not a working artist, you’d already have my application!
Truly, there is no finer thing than turning what you love into your living.

  2. Alison is self-taught, and an inspiration to my husband and me. We are in the process of restoring our original wood windows ourselves. A company based in Texas that sells spring bronze weatherstripping mentioned Alison and recommended that I view Alison’s work. I was pleased and proud that she is a BU alumna, and has even restored the windows of BU’s Castle. Her work is extraordinary. Thank you for this writing profile.

  3. I recently learned how to restore wood windows. My house is 112 years old. My problem is I am missing the top half of my window which is a 3 pane with two wood straps over one. How can I find a replacement.
