All Baltic states report export growth in 8 months

Exports increased across the three Baltic states in the first eight months of 2017 from the same period of 2016, Eurostat said on Monday, cites LETA/BNS.
Lithuania's exports went up by 17% to 16.9 billion euros in January through
August year-on-year, while Latvia's growth was 11% to 7.7 billion euros and
Estonia's 9% to 8.4 billion euros, show the latest figures from the European
Union's (EU) statistics arm.
In the first eight months of 2017, imports in Lithuania jumped by 17% to
18.7 billion euros year-on-year, while respective increases in Latvia and
Estonia were 17% to 9.7 billion euros and 11% to 9.8 billion euros.
Among the three Baltic nations, the biggest trade deficit was reported in
Latvia at 1.9 billion euros in January through August, while Lithuania and
Estonia followed with 1.8 billion euros and 1.4 billion euros, respectively.
