Africa: ICC War Crimes Judges Approve Burundi Investigation

Judges in The Hague have approved a full investigation into alleged crimes against humanity in Burundi, the first country to leave the International Criminal Court. Hundreds of people have been killed since 2015.

Judges at the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague approved on Thursday the chief prosecutor's request for a full war crimes investigation in Burundi.
