ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - A high-level Saudi team, led by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, arrived in Pakistan on Monday on a two-day visit.

When the Saudi foreign minister arrived in Islamabad, he was met with a red-carpet reception. Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar greeted him on the tarmac, highlighting the two countries' close relationship.

Upon his arrival, the children presented Prince Faisal with roses, and he inspected the static guard while the military band performed.

The visit intends to accelerate the implementation of agreements that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman reached at their recent meeting in Makkah.

The discussions will center on improving bilateral economic cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The delegation includes key officials, ministers, and deputy ministers from different ministries and the Saudi Fund for General Investment.

The Saudi team is expected to meet with the president, prime minister, foreign minister, key ministers, the chief of army staff, and SIFC's apex committee during its stay.

The visit is expected to significantly improve bilateral cooperation and promote a mutually beneficial economic partnership between the two countries.
