- Registration for the upcoming season of Stanley Blue Devils AYF youth football has begun, and will take place Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through the end of July. The fee to register is $75. Practice begins July 22 at 6 p.m. in Stanley’s Kiser Gym. Boys ages 5-12 and from Mt. Holly, Ranlo, East Gastonia, Dallas and Stanley are eligible to participate. - The Denver Nuggets Travel Basketball teams, announces the dates for the 24th annual basketball camps at East Lincoln High School. Camp dates are June 24-27.

Camps are for boys and girls rising second through 10th graders and will be held at East Lincoln High School.

From June 24-27, campers between seventh and 10th grades will hold the court from 8:30 a.m. until noon. Second through sixth graders will be on the floor from 1-4 p.m.

Coach Ashley plans to present a camp like ones that he has instructed at Erskine College, Gardner-Webb, High Point, and Winthrop Universities. “I am excited about the basketball camps at East Lincoln High School. The objectives of the camp are quite simple: I want campers to have fun and to improve their fundamental skills in all aspects of basketball."

The cost to preregister for the camp is $65, while registration the day of camp is $75. Applications can be sent electronically by emailing Coach Chip Ashley at denvernuggetsbasketball21@gmail.com.
