Organizational Meeting of New American Legion Auxiliary Unit in Merritt Island Set Sept. 19

The First organizational meeting of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 344 Merritt Island, Florida, will be held Wednesday, September 19 at 7 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Center, located at 400 S. Sykes Creek Parkway.

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – The First organizational meeting of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 344 Merritt Island, Florida, will be held Wednesday, September 19 at 7 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Center, located at 400 S. Sykes Creek Parkway.

This meeting is the first of two organizational meetings to pave the way to start this new and exciting opportunity.

Eligible to join are mothers, wives, grandmothers, sisters and direct descendants of eligible veterans, as well as current auxiliary members interested in joining this new unit.

Please be sure to bring a copy of the DD214 or discharge papers of the veteran under whom you will join.
